This is a , Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, generally worked over 4 days between Monday and Friday, with shifts typically between 7:30am and 5:30pm. However, weekend work may occasionally be required based on clinical activity and service needs. There are also opportunities to travel to other sites to attend training or to support clinical activity across the regions within your typical working hours.

Whether you have prior experience or are looking to take your first step into healthcare, full training will be provided to ensure you feel fully equipped and supported within your role here at CHEC.[JR1] 

 

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant at CHEC, you will play an important part in supporting our clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care across endoscopy and a range of specialities.

 

Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Undertaking decontamination processes and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Supporting patients throughout their care journey, ensuring they feel welcomed, comfortable, and well-informed
  • Assisting with clinical assessments and preparing patients for procedures
  • Supporting the clinical team during diagnostic tests, minor procedures, and surgeries across multiple specialities
  • Preparing clinical areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all rooms are set up for procedures
  • Assisting with admission, recovery, and discharge processes
  • Assisting with stock control and general administrative duties to support smooth clinic operations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
